Greenpacha

While traveling on a surf trip, two argentinian sisters discovered the Ecuadorian tradition of hand-making straw hats, widely known as Panama Hats. With an innovative and humanitarian vision they launched Greenpacha in March 2011.

Greenpacha is based in La Jolla, California, and brings to you 100% hand made toquilla straw panama hats. Greenpacha gives back 2% of the total sales to the communities that weave. Both, Florencia and Julieta, travel at least twice a year to South America to personally bring the necessary help to these people.

On the innovative side, Greenpacha designs are fine, defining a style that revolutionizes the roots of an ancient tradition bringing to the present the best of it.
In the Inca language “pacha” means “times”.

Greenpacha is part of the green movement. Through its special designs Greenpacha wants to connect like-minded people towards building a Better World.
